Turnitin Draft Coach is now available and ready to support students on their academic journey, accessible through Microsoft Word Online with the university’s Microsoft 365 license.
What is Turnitin Draft Coach? Turnitin Draft Coach is an innovative tool that helps improve writing by providing feedback on similarity, citations, grammar, and spelling. It guides users through the writing process, supporting them in reviewing their work and developing their academic approach before submission.

- Similarity Checks: Check the similarity of your work against a vast database to maintain academic integrity before official submission.
- Citation Assistance: Ensure your citations are accurate and properly formatted, reducing the risk of plagiarism.

How to Access Turnitin Draft Coach: Staff and students can access Turnitin Draft Coach through Microsoft Word Online (via 365.lincoln.ac.uk). Note that Draft Coach is not currently available on the desktop version of Word. You can find Draft Coach under the “Turnitin” tab in your toolbar.
